Intro to Classical In-Hand Work and Biomechanics and Feel-based Groundwork

Located at Nolan Ranch in Nocona, Texas

This clinic will focus on introducing both horse and human to classical in-hand work as well as biomechanics and feel-based groundwork. This work has benefitted horses and humans of both western and English riding styles, and this clinic is centered around a thoughtful introduction to a style of horsemanship that blends traditional art and modern equine science.

All participants must sign a waiver and provide a negative coggins prior to the start of the clinic.

There is trailer parking available, no stabling available at this time.

Auditors must provide their own seating.

Stallions and pets not permitted during the clinic.

Clinic Itinerary:

8:00am - Check-in

8:30 - Session begins

12:00pm - Session ends

12:30 - Lunch (provided)

Frequently Asked Questions

  • For this clinic, it would be most helpful to bring a rope halter and lead or a cavesson and long line as well as a flag or dressage whip.

  • All horses must provide a negative coggins (within the last 12 months), a current health certificate, and current vaccine records. A lack of proper records provided by the closing date will result in your spot being forfeited.

  • Waivers and sign-up forms must be submitted along with payment to consider registration complete. Please email anna@howlinrevivalhorsemanship to receive all forms. Please expect to sign a waiver for the facility upon check-in.
