About Anna Arunski

Anna Arunski is a horsewoman, writer, and most importantly a student of the horse.

Anna grew up eventing off the track thoroughbreds in the scenic Western Reserve of Northeast Ohio. This is where her passion for off the track thoroughbreds began. Through developing these horses into performance horses, she learned the importance of wanting to see the horse for who they are and the importance of asking “why” in regard to their behaviors. The OTTBs in Anna’s life are the horses who brought her to love classical horsemanship and understand the importance of equine biomechanics.

This led Anna to Kentucky where her education in the horse industry diversified immensely. Here, she was able to work with feral to therapy horses and all of the disciplines in between. She also strengthened her education in rehabilitation work as well as classical riding in the French tradition. Here, she was also exposed to buckaroo horsemanship and found a deep appreciation for the lightness, feel, and work ethic that it takes to have a successful partnership while still being able to get a job done.

Anna also spent time around high-end horse sale barns where she learned the importance of marketing horses to help them find their best home. She takes this skillset that she learned to help market consignment horses in the HRH program.

Today, Anna enjoys teaching a wide range of horses and humans and applying her knowledge from various experiences across the horse industry.

About Howlin’ Revival Horsemanship

Howlin’ Revival Horsemanship is devoted to bettering the horse industry through every horse that participates in our program. From helping performance horses get back into the show ring and helping them build wellness through sustainable and biomechanics-based training practices, to the everyday horseman’s partnership and helping them reach their goals while guiding them through cutting-edge science and traditional artful practices.

We pride ourselves on helping horses through principles of the French Classical tradition whose focus on lightness and healthy movement combines beautifully with equine biomechanics. Through these principles, it allows HRH to support a variety of horses; from unhandled horses to professional rodeo and FEI horses.

The horse always comes first, this is exemplified through educational opportunities such as webinars and clinics, care practices that put welfare first, and training that keeps sustainability and soundness at the forefront.
